Game Features

Habanero sticks to a simple set of mechanics, with basic functions like rebet and clear table, as well as the following special features.

Racetrack View – Apart from the standard Roulette table, you can also wager through the racetrack view. This opens up the chance to place neighbour bets, which adds four adjacent wagers to the number you pick. We used it throughout a few of our bets, even if it ultimately didn’t lead to any huge wins.

Special Bets – The racetrack view gives you the option to place some special bets as well. Sure, you could set these up manually, but the option to place them with the click of a button made the process a lot faster and easier. You get Orphans, Thirds of the Wheel and Neighbours of Zero. The special bets gave us our biggest in-game win of ₹700,000.

Betting History – This is another rushed feature that feels quite lazy. Betting history is displayed on a panel to the left of the play area, and it’s incredibly barebones. It shows the last eight numbers to hit (odd choice), but that’s pretty much it. The numbers are shown in yellow, so you can’t even tell the colour of the numbers that hit from a few rounds back.

Roulette Verdict

We’re all for simple Roulette games that stick to the basic set of features that prioritise core gameplay. But the issue we found with Habanero’s Roulette is that while it manages to put together a solid experience, it cuts a few corners along the way.

A clear example of this is the lack of a double bet function. You get rebet and clear bet options, but for some strange reason, the provider left out the option to double your wagers across the table. On the other hand, the visuals look fantastic and the addition of a zoom feature on the winning number makes it easier to follow the game’s progression.

Habanero’s Roulette can be a good option for new players who are still getting used to the game. It’s simple, with clear features and mechanics that help you understand how it all works. The win potential won’t satisfy high rollers, but you can still land sizable wins with a maximum bet level of ₹25,000.

If you’re hoping for the ideal Roulette game, this doesn’t quite cut it. But if you’re just looking for a simple version to get you started, then you should give Habanero’s Roulette a go.

American Roulette Betsoft

Betsoft’s American Roulette features a similar classic look, but it dials down the features, removing the zoom function, racetrack view and special bets. It has a lower win potential, but we still managed to hit a big ₹400,000 win.

Betsoft’s Zoom Roulette is another European game with a very minimal set of features. You get a racetrack view with special bets and a slightly more advanced betting history feature. And the zoom mechanic gives you a better look at the last number to hit.
